The next Forza Horizon 5 expansion has been announced. Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure will see you travel to another part of Mexico to experience proper rally racing.
And it’s proper, more than just the little homages seen in the base game. The new open-world map, Sierra Nueva, features undulating dirt routes as well as twisty off-camber asphalt. And the rally routes feature co-driver pace notes, with the appropriate UI prompts.
But there’s a Forza Horizon twist: the co-driver won’t be riding shotgun with you, but will be spouting off the pace notes from the helicopter up above. And the pace notes include notes about chickens.
New cars confirmed during the reveal stream include the Ford F-150 Lightning and the 1999 Ford Focus which rally legend Colin McRae once drove, presumably flat out. Ten new cars are added with the expansion.

Unlike the previous expansion, Rally Adventure will let you run what you brung like the base game. Any car can be used to tackle the new campaign in the expansion, split into three “teams”. You can bring an S2 class rally monster you have tuned (or downloaded a tune of) to tackle the new rally adventure in Sierra Nueva.
Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure will also introduce anti-lag turbos to the base game, as well as an option to do launch control.
Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure will also be the return of Epitaph Radio, the radio station first seen in Forza Horizon 3. And that means punk rock is back on the Horizon featuring music by Alkaline Trio, The Offspring, Bad Religion and Pennywise, among others. Like anti-lag and launch control, this will be available for the base game as well.
This is the second of two planned expansion packs for Forza Horizon 5, the first being the Hot Wheels expansion.
Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure expansion will be out on March 29 for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam, Microsoft Store). Forza Horizon 5, the base game, is available on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.
