You read that right. DC’s Superman, Street Fighter’s M. Bison and the 1963 Aston Martin DB5 (famous for being the car of 00 agent James Bond) have now been added to Hot Wheels Unleased, the arcade racing game by Milestone.
As the Aston has given it away, these are Superman and M. Bison cars, mind. There are actual licensed Superman and M. Bison Hot Wheels cars made and sold. And since Hot Wheels Unleashed is all about representing the 1:64 diecast toys, and IPs crossing over are all the rage, it makes sense to see these coming.
The three cars join the Hot Wheels Tropical Wave Customisation Pack (which adds more cosmetics to decorate your basement room) and the Hot Wheels Rolling Boulders Module (adds a track piece where a random boulder will be thrown onto the track) as part of the first wave of paid DLCs.
If you already have the Vol.1 Season Pass (costs at RM60), the latest update will add all of the new content for you.

You can also buy each of the DLC items ala carte. The Hot Wheels Aston Martin DB5 1963 costs only RM2.70 (same goest to the Tropical Wave DLC) while the Superman and M. Bison car are at RM4. Which is actually pretty cheap, cheaper than getting your hands on their real-life equivalents (which is a bit lesser than RM10 in Malaysia). The Rolling Boulders is a bit higher at RM6.
If you are on PC that is. The pricing on PlayStation Store is a little steeper. The DLCs costing RM2.70, RM4 and RM6 are priced at RM5, RM9 and RM15 respectively.
This is the first of three waves for the Vol.1 Season Pass. Expect a few more DC and Street Fighter themed cars to roll in the last two months of 2021.
Hot Wheels Unleashed is out now for the PS4, PS5, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
