At The Game Awards 2023, Square Enix revealed two new DLCs coming to the character action game (and sometimes an RPG) Final Fantasy XVI. One of the DLCs, Echoes Of The Fallen is out now.
Echoes Of The Fallen adds a new story, new battles, as well as new weapons and accessories, plus an increased level cap.
The DLC will begin before the final boss battle. Clive and the party will be investigating suspicious traders which later will unravel more of the Fallen.
The Buster Sword from Final Fantasy VII can be equipped if you buy this DLC.
The other DLC, The Rising Tide, will release later in Spring (Q2) 2024. This will see Clive and the party confront that one missing Eikon from the game: Leviathan.
The two DLCs can be purchased ala carte or as a bundle as part of the Final Fantasy XVI Expansion Pass.
