Far Cry 6 Announced Starring Giancarlo Esposito, Releasing In February 2021

The “one more thing” in the recent Ubisoft Forward livestream is a nice surprise, though it was actually leaked a few days ago.

Far Cry 6 has been officially revealed. This time, the open-world FPS brings you to Yara, a new location set in the Caribbean ruled by the dictator Anton Castillo. Anton is played by Giancarlo Esposito, famous for his roles in the TV series Breaking Bad and the spin-off Better Call Saul.

Ubisoft showed a beautiful title sequence, dropping names of the other stars in the game. And also a cinematic trailer that sells the tone of the game. Watch Anton explained the nature of the grenade and share his wisdom to his son Diego.

A strong first impression for the sequel’s new villain it looks like.

Far Cry 6 will be released on February 18, 2021 for the PS4, PS5, PC (Epic Games Store, Uplay), Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Stadia.
