Fall Guys has fallen to success it seems. The record-breaking launch for a game published by Devolver Digital is followed by strong sales.
Over on the Fall Guys Twitter, they have announced that they have sold over 2 million copies on Steam. Amazing considering it’s a paid multiplayer-only game.
It helps that it’s also pretty cheap. In Malaysia it’s priced at RM39 on Steam. Full priced games can range from RM95 on Steam (due to regional pricing) to RM239+.
Fall Guys has also been popular on Twitch, with over 23 million hours of jellybean flopping watched. 1.5 million crowns have been grabbed, which equates to how many matches have been played.
This is only the first week of the game launch and it’s already a huge success. So long as the servers continue to withhold (it is getting better), we can see this as the surprise hit of 2020.
Fall Guys is out now on PC as well as PS4. It’s also the free PS Plus game for the month.
