Experience Singapore-Flavoured First-Person Horror In Scarred, New Demo Available

Craving for a first-person horror game? Developer KOEX Studio and publisher The Iterative Collective released a new demo for Scarred, as part of Steam Next Fest.

The demo should give you a taste of this Singapore-flavoured horror puzzler.

In Scarred, you will be searching to uncover the truth of a missing schoolmate’s fate as you navigate through a nightmarish take of Singapore. The game blends a story of personal tragedy, psychological horror as well as local folklore.

Expect to walk across dingy corridors, the claustrophobic ones as well as walkways that make up the front of flats (apartments) with its low half-walls, a trip between two timelines, and the ability to help a tormented spirit find peace… but it may have unexpected consequences.

Scarred was initially set for release on March 6, but has been delayed to April. So the new Steam Next Fest demo should appease fans that have been waiting for this to release.

“While we’re eager to share Scarred with our community, we believe this short extension will significantly elevate the player experience,” said Matthew, CEO of The Iterative Collective.
“We’re excited to offer players an early glimpse of the game through our Steam Next Fest demo, where they can experience firsthand the unique blend of Singaporean horror and
psychological storytelling we’ve created.”

Scarred will be out on April 17 on PC (Steam).
