Blazblue Cross Tag Battle is one of the eight main tournaments at Evo 2018. And as we expected after seeing a trend from last year, there was a special announcement at the end of the tournament.
The BBTAG tournament ended with Heiho from Japan won using his scythe squad duo of Ruby and Gordeau.. though it took some time for it to sink in.

After the awards ceremony, a new trailer dropped showcasing three new Character Packs, each adding three new characters from Blazblue, Persona and Under Night In-Birth.
The new characters are as follows:

From Persona 4 Arena
- Akihiko Sanada
- Mitsuru Kirijo
- Labrys
From Under Night In-Birth
- Yuzuriha
- Mika
- Merkava
The new Character Packs will be available on August 6th for North America, which is just days away.
At the end of the trailer, a teaser suggest another series might join the crossover 2V2 fighting game. Will the rumours of Senran Kagura be true? Or is it something else?
But whatever it is, developers Arc System Works are not done with adding more content just yet. Expect more fates to be crossed/intersect/intertwine in the future.
