SCS Software announced an upcoming DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2. The West Balkans DLC will expand the road network to include seven more countries.
The countries added with Euro Truck Simulator 2 West Balkans DLC are:
- Albania
- Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Croatia
- Kosovo
- Montenegro
- North Macedonia
- Serbia
- Slovenia
Previously with the Road To The Black Sea DLC, ETS2 added Romania, Bulgaria and the European part of Turkey. So almost all of the Balkan region – Moldova is left out for now.
This DLC was being developed for over a year already. The developers have different teams working on multiple DLCs. However, as the blog post stated, the West Balkans DLC is still “in the early phase of development” but full production is currently on the way.
Recently, ETS2 was supposed to release the Heart Of Russia DLC, which adds more roads in northwestern Russia, though the release has been indefinitely postponed due to the ongoing war in Ukraine.
