Epic Games Store Now Has More 160 Million Users, Local Currency Support For SEA Countries Coming Soon

Epic Games has shared an infographic of 2020 stats, and it looks mighty impressive.

Turns out all those free game offers, 103 game to be precise, worth $2,407 USD, have attracted more than 160 million users.

Players have also spent $700 million USD (around RM2.8 billion).

Epic have also teased what’s to come to the Epic Games Store. Expect to see wishlist improvements, an overhaul of social features, a new way to view achivements, player profiles and, of course, a shopping cart.

The Trello board of the roadmap for Epic Games Store also reveals a few more features in the works, including bundles with adjusted price if you partially own them (ala Steam), and more currency support.

These currencies that are currently planned to be supported on the Epic Games Store includes the majority of Southeast Asian countries, including Ringgit Malaysia.
