The Epic Games Store is slowly improving with some much-needed features.
Your game library now has sorting functions, a search option and a new list layout. With the growing library of games being put on the store and launcher, this is a much-needed addition. There is also a playtime tracker which displays how many hours of the game you’ve played, but it is buried under the settings rather than something you easily see.
Patch sizes, in general, are greatly reduced. The latest Fortnite update was shown to go down to 2.03GB from 6.79GB- around a 70% reduction in size.
Epic Games has also added the support for game bundles. So games can be sold in bundles as part of an offer- like the recent Batman games freebies.
There’s still more to come. Epic Games teased a new storefront look, which should require less scrolling and showing off more games in one screen. An in-game overlay is also in the works.
