Endless Legend 2 now has a demo available. The 4X strategy game delaying its Early Access release, which should’ve been out around this time, but instead everyone gets a taste of what to expect in Amplitude’s next title.
The demo allows players to play as two of the new factions, the Kin of Sheredyn or the Aspects. The Necrophages aren’t playable but they can appear as an enemy faction. The demo has a turn cap, of course, but it’s long enough to experience two tide-fall events. Demo progress won’t transfer to the Early Access release, but that’s fine. Every 4X player’s favourite thing to do is start a new fresh game instead of finishing an existing one.
However, the demo has a shelf life. It will only be available until August 18. So you have one week to try it out.
Endless Legend 2 will launch in Early Access in a month’s time. The full game will feature five playable factions (four has been revealed) and unlimited turns.
Endless Legend will launch on PC via Steam Early Access on September 22.
