Prepare to put on your boots and exit the space truck. Elite Dangerous’ ambitious expansion, Odyssey, now has a release date.
Elite Dangerous Odyssey will add a boots-on-the-ground FPS experience to the space flight sim. This will allow you to take on on-foot missions, with guns involved.
Characters are customisable with our choice of suits and gear, with specific suits geared for certain types of missions. You can drop to the social hubs to get new gear, plan the next mission and also meet other players now unattached to their space ship.
Elite Dangerous Odyssey will be available on May 19 on PC, with PS4 and Xbox One getting it later this year.
