The upcoming expansion DLC for Elden Ring, Shadow Of The Erdtree, has a new trailer revealed. The new story trailer doesn’t show any gameplay (it’s all CGI), rather, it’s a short primer on the new location for the expansion: The Land Of Shadow.
We see glimpses of war and the tyranny of Messmer, the new character and potential big bad of the expansion. It also gives glimpses of the locales The Land Of Shadow, the land underneath the Erdtree, has to offer. There’s definitely a swamp there. And is that Miquella’s great rune symbol, previously never been seen before? But why is it ominously glows in various places as if it’s a site of grace?
Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree will see players, a the Tarnished, travel to the Land Of Shadow following the footsteps of Miquella- a character regularly mentioned in the base game but not necessarily seen as apparently, he has left The Lands Between to go here.
Expect new areas to explore, new bosses, new armaments (weapons) and armour in this one and possibly only expansion to 2022’s most-celebrated video game release developed by From Software and published by Bandai Namco.
Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree expansion drops on June 21 for PS4, PS5, PC (Steam), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
