Easy Delivery Co. Free Update Turns It Into A Rally Racer

There’s now a clear distinction between a racing game and a driving game. The latter being a game where it centers around the experience of driving the vehicle in a leisurely way mostly free from rival drivers or time pressure.

Easy Delivery Co., the excellent little indie game where you chillfully drive a kei truck through chilling mountainside towns, is getting a free update that makes the driving game into a racing game. A rally game, specifically.

The EasyCo EasyRally game mode is “an alternate, re-imagined version of the game” where instead of delivering parcels, you’re in a race for time, hustling that little kei truck. It adds a speedometer and manual transmission, from the looks of the trailer. And you are playing as a different person in this game mode it looks like as well.

This free update will be available on July 6.

Easy Delivery Co. is out now on PC (Steam). Check out our review of the game here.
