Dirt 5 Release Gets One-Week Delay To October 16

Dirt 5, Codemasters’ next off-road racing game has a hit a minor snag. But like a rally car, it’s minor damage and can still move forward perfectly.

Over on Twitter, the Dirt account has announced that Dirt 5 will launch one week later than before- from October 9 to October 16. The three-day early access offer for buyers of the more-expensive Amplified Edition will now get to play it three days early on October 13 instead.

No reason was given why for the one-week delay.

Codemasters reiterated that they will offer free next-gen upgrades for PS5 and Xbox Series X for owners of the PS4 and Xbox One version.

Dirt 5 will now launch on October 16 for the PS4, PC and Xbox One, and later releasing on PS5, Xbox Series X and Stadia.
