Deus Ex Mankind Divided is set for release on August 23, that’s less than a week from now. Mankind Divided is Eidos Montreal’s second take of the series. The first Deus Ex in 2001 was a cult hit, then Eidos Montreal, now part of Square Enix, took over for the prequel, Human Revolution to astounding success (except the boss fights, that were later fixed).
Despite a rocky start of the marketing campaign (a pre-order campaign that had tiers depending on how many did- with a final unlock of getting the game released early..for 4 days) that nobody asked for, and later a major delay from February to August, Mankind Divided looks to be on track. Here’s the launch trailer to get you excited for the release:
Of course, don’t get too excited just yet. Until we have the game in our hands, we won’t know for sure it’s worth playing or not- unless you’re already sold on what they have shown so far and pre-ordered.
Expect a review of Deus Ex Mankind Divided soon.
