Death Stranding is somehow close upon us, and there’s a new trailer showcasing the cast of Hideo Kojima’s latest opus.
First revealed at San Diego Comic Con, there’s a character spotlight for Heartman, whose heart stops every 21 minutes. So basically, he will die every 21 minutes and has to be resurrected.
Apparently, as the cutscene showed here, he’s come to terms with his rather odd living condition, as he is explaining to Sam Bridges, portrayed by Norman Reedus. Heartman certainly has good time management to fit all of life’s function within that timeframe. And he seems to be okay with being dead for about 68 times a day,
Heartman’s likeness is portrayed by Nicolas Winding Refn, a Danish film director and, of course, a close friend of Kojima’s.
Before this, the only thing revealed out of the SDCC panel was Death Stranding will have a box art.
We shall witness the oddity of the first Strand game as Death Stranding will be out on November 8th exclusively for the PS4.
