Well, this is unexpected. Dead Or Alive 6 is adding another character. Unlike what we’ve seen before, which are additions of the ladies from DOA 5 that did not make the cut (Momiji and Rachel), this time it’s a new character, sort of.
Tamaki is already part of Dead Or Alive. But for Dead Or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation, as part of new characters that are only in the free-to-play gacha game (that’s not available in Malaysia, disappointingly so but nothing surprising).
As you can see in this teaser trailer, she is quite the tease. You’ll understand why she’s in Venus Vacation, a game focusing on collecting new ladies and new costumes for said ladies. Yeah.
In an interview with DOA 6 producer Yohei Shimbori in 2018, as Siliconera points out, he mentioned that new characters that appear in Venus Vacation won’t be in the mainline fighting game. Two years on it looks like that stance has changed.
The teaser is just Tamaki being a tease, we don’t even know what fighting style she will have. But for those who are still playing Dead Or Alive, and don’t mind the fanservice, well, here’s good news for you.
