Saber Interactive looks to be rather busy for 2022, alongside their recently announced endeavors of making the 2nd installment of the Space Marine series, they are also rejigging their open-world vehicle game style to a more racing focus with the Dakar franchise.
The new trailer is mostly pre-rendered and not actual gameplay, but does highlight the core of this racing series, with it being an open-world map whilst fighting the element like sandstorms and muddy paths. Something the folks at Sabre have tons of experience with, thanks to them developing the Spintires series.
Players will also get to use around 150+ vehicles, with the likes of the Dakar trucks, SSV buggies and dirt bikes available for you to traverse the map with, all of which are from the official 2020/21 roster.
Dakar Desert Rally is set to release on 2022 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
