Cyberpunk 2077 Has Gone Gold

CD Projekt Red’s upcoming first-person RPG, Cyberpunk 2077 has gone gold. The game is now finished and ready for disc production, and will definitely hit that November 19 release date now.

For fans, this is good news. The long-awaited (and delayed) new game from the makers of The Witcher III will finally be out soon. Cyberpunk 2077 has you take on the role of V, a fully customisable character that is making a name of themselves in Night City. Do some high-risk jobs, get cybernetics and guns, screw the corporation, the usual things folks do in a cyberpunk world.

Though work on the game haven’t finished just yet. In fact, the developers are now in crunch, doing mandatory six-day workweeks until the game is shipped to fix bugs. Which goes against the company’s public promise of not doing crunch.

We shall see if the extra hard work pays off when Cyberpunk 2077 releases on November 19 for the PS4, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG) and Xbox One.
