Cyberpunk 2077 Getting Ray Tracing Support via Nvidia RTX

Cyberpunk 2077 is getting ray tracing support on PC via Nvidia RTX. Nvidia has announced the upcoming first-person RPG/immersive sim by CD Projekt RED will be using this tech.

As you can see in the game’s new trailer, the whole game takes place in Night City, a megacity oozing with.. well.. cyberpunk theming. Those bight neon signs, wet puddles and many other reflections will be made more realistically looking if you have an Nvidia RTX GPU.

The new trailer, revealed at Xbox’s E3 briefing, showcased the new character Johnny Silverhand, as played by Keanu “You’re Breathtaking!” Reeves.

Cyberpunk 2077 joins the list of the ever-growing games with RTX ON support, including Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) and Watch Dogs Legion.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be out on April 16th, 2020 for PC as well as PS4 and Xbox One.
