Co-Op Caper Monaco 2 Getting A Steam Next Fest Demo

Indie devs Pocketwatch Games will be releasing a multiplayer demo for its upcoming co-op game Monaco 2.

Sequel to Monaco: What’s Yours Is Mine, Monaco 2 brings an extra dimension to the stealth game: the characters are all in 3D now instead of the 2D minimalist silhouette aesthetic used in the original.

There is still that semblance of the old aesthetic via Blueprint Mode, where heisters, a team of up to 4 players, can make a plan of how to get and get out.

Monaco 2 still plays like a stealth strategy game with the top-down view, more than ever. The reveal trailer shows the different heisters, still colour-coded like the in Monaco, having very specific abilities, from seducing enemies to simply knocking them out cold in case the stealth plan went awry.

The game will feature eight different characters, a structure campaign as well as procedurally-generated levels to really prove you and your mates are master thieves.

The co-op demo for Monaco 2 will go live on February 20, ahead of Steam Next Fest. Check the Steam page here to download the demo when it goes live.
