Want to see Ken’s gameplay in the new Fatal Fury? Sure you can. At the Esports World Cup, publisher SNK revealed the gameplay trailer for Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves’ upcoming (free) DLC character, Ken from Street Fighter.
The Metro City native is heading to South Town in his Street Fighter 6, hobo-ken look. The former US National Fighting Champion is on the run for a crime he did not commit, and ends up in this game to cross paths with the Legendary Wolf—and fellow American blondie fighter—Terry Bogard. Not the first time, considering the crossovers Capcom and SNK has had throughout the years.
In fact, Street Fighter 6 welcomed Terry and Mai last season, now is SNK’s turn to run in back, with Chun-Li to arrive as the next DLC in line.
The trailer shows Ken carries over most of his bread-and-butter, from hadoukens, shoryukens and the Shoryureppa super. He also brought with him his original Street Fighter II theme, remixed for this entry, as well as his original Street Fighter look with the red gi, as well.
The snippet here shows Ken at his element, rushing down enemies with his red-hot onslaught of kicks.
Ken is the second DLC character as part of Season Pass 1 of Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves. Technically, all versions of City Of The Wolves sold are the Deluxe Edition which includes Season Pass 1. So effectively, all the five characters in Season Pass 1 are effectively free to all players.
Ken arrives in Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves sometime this summer, late August the latest. Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves is out now on PS4, PS5, PC (Steam) and Xbox Series X|S.
