Bomb Rush Cyberfunk Gets First Proper Trailer, Releasing In 2022

Team Reptile (of Lethal League fame) stole the hearts of many with its first tease of their next game: Bomb Rush Cyberfunk. Without saying anything, many can come to the same conclusion: It’s a spiritual successor to Jet Set Radio.

Today, the developers show off the first proper trailer for Bomb Rush Cyberfunk. Funky grooves by Hideki Naganuma? Check. Stylishly grinding on rails? Check. Sick jumps and wallride? Check. Tagging? Check.

Rollerblades are not here, interestingly. The crew have boostpacks on their back for sick jumps but they just grind walls and ceilings (!) in normal pair of kicks. Or so it seems.

Running at only 33 seconds, you really just can’t get enough of what’s shown here. It looks promising.

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is set to release in the “Future”, as its Steam store page says. That future is 2022, according to the YouTube description of the new trailer.
