Besiege New Expansion Adds Water In The Splintered Sea Expansion

How can you add more to the machine-engineering sandbox game Besiege. Just add water. Developer Spiderling Studios announced a new expansion for the Besiege called Besiege: The Splintered Sea.

Besiege: The Splintered Sea will add 10 new levels as part of a new campaign and 8 new blocks to build your contraptions. As the trailer showed, you’ll be creating machines to float on the sea as well as dive underwater. Be it ships or mechanical sharks.

And of course, just because it’s the middle of an ocean doesn’t mean there’s no chaos or destruction. Rather, expect more, as there are now water physics you have to consider.

Also, the remix of Nocturne op.9 No.2 by Chopin as heard from the announcement trailer is pretty baller.

The expansion was first announced as part of the Triple-I Initiative broadcast.

Besiege: The Splinter Sea expansion will be out on May 24 on PC (Steam).
