Battlefield V will be delayed from its initial release date of October 19th to November 20th.
In a blog post, it was mentioned that the additional time will allow developers DICE to fine tune the gameplay, in particular the Tides Of War- a new live game element for the game.
In other news, Battlefield V’s open beta is set to start on September 6th. Those that pre-order or have an Origin Access or EA Access subscription can start playing two days earlier. The client is available on the PS Store, Origin client for PC and the Xbox Store.
The beta will include two maps, Rotterdam and the Arctic Fjord, with the latter having two different modes- Conquest and Grand Operations.
With Battlefield V, the series is now revisiting the World War II setting. The game will also feature a Battle Royale mode of sorts, which has yet to be revealed, as well as a single-player campaign to accompany the core 64-player multiplayer FPS experience.
Battlefield V will be out on November 20th for the PS4, PC and Xbox One.
