In addition, the post-launch content has been outlined. It will come in both paid form via a Season Pass and free updates. As for the Season Pass, it will be split in two major story arcs rather than two DLCs. The delivery will be episodic, with new episodes to arrive every six weeks.
The first story arc, Legacy of the First Blade will have your choice protagonist (Alexios or Kassandra) meet the first Hidden Blade user which leads to the formation of the Assassins. This will be launched in December. The next story arc, The Fate Of Atlantis, has you explore the hidden city of Atlantis and its ties to The First Civilization. This will be start to arrive sometime in Spring 2019.
And that’s not the end of it. Similar to Far Cry 5’s Season Pass, Odyssey will include a whole new remaster of a past game. This time it’s Assassin’s Creed III Remastered, which includes all the DLCs as well as the spin-off game that first appeared on the PS Vita- Assassin’s Creed Liberation Remastered.
Players not interested with the Season Pass also will be getting some freebies too. The Lost Tales of Greece is a free, episodic content that will be arriving in-between the Season Pass episodes. New Game+ and live game-esque weekly and daily challenges should in theory keep players busy even after they reach the end of the main story.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be out on October 5th for the PS4, PC and Xbox One.
