Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced To Be Officially Unveiled This Week

Ubisoft has announced that it will be officially revealing Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced this week.

The remake/remaster for the 2013 game Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag has been rumoured, and even leaked, hence the specific designation of “officially unveiled.”

The Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resync reveal will be done through a live showcase, premiering on April 24, 12 AM Malaysia Time (+8 GMT) on the Assassin’s Creed channel on YouTube and Ubisoft’s Twitch.

The original Assassin’s Creed Black Flag stars one Edward Kenway, a pirate during the Golden Age Of Piracy. The title, which has over 34 million players (the specific designation of “players” instead of “sales” due to the game had been offered as a freebie) introduced another unexpected setting to the franchise mostly remembered back then for its innovative parkour and social stealth feature. In Black Flag, you set sail on the high seas across the open sea of an open world, the mechanic so popular that it inspired Ubisoft to make a title where it’s all just naval ship battles in the form of Skulls And Bones.

Black Flag is also one of the more memorable Assassin’s Creed titles before the series reinvented itself into an open-world RPG that only occasionally focused on stealth assassinations.

The latest Assassin’s Creed entry, Shadows, released last year.
