Armored Core VI Fires Of Rubicon PC Specs, Launch Timing

We’re more or less 10 days away from the launch of Armored Core VI Fires Of Rubicon, the latest entry to FromSoftware’s mecha-action series. 10 years of waiting leads to this.

The Armored Core Twitter has revealed the exact timing of when the game launch, as well as its minimum and recommended PC specs requirements.

For the launch, on PC, the game will go live at 10 PM UTC on August 24 globally. That’s 6 AM on August 25 in Malaysia Time, +8 GMT.

On consoles, the game will go live on midnight, local time on August 25.

As for the minimum and recommended PC specs, there are the following:

Not only will AC VI be the first entry to the long-dormant Armored Core series in 10 years, but it’s also the first entry to release on PC.

In Armored Core VI Fires Of Rubicon, players are sent to the planet Rubicon 3 as a mercenary mecha pilot, taking on missions for corporations. Players are free to customise their mecha, the Armored Core, with various parts and weaponry to fit the mission or playstyle.

The core gameplay revolves around completing objectives, which may or may not include a boss fight at the end of each mission. This AC game has a little tinge of Souls, more than ever, with how it feels from the looks of it.

Armored Core VI Fires Of Rubicon is releasing on August 25 for the PS4, PS5, PC (Steam), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders for the game, including the Collector’s Edition and Premium Collector’s Edition, is now available in Southeast Asia.
