Aorus RTX 3090/3080 Gaming Box Brings Water-Cooled External Graphics To Your Ultrabook Laptop

Gigabyte has launched the Aorus RTX 3090/3080 Gaming Box. It’s the world’s first water-cooled external graphics unit, and can plug in a GeForce RTX 3090 or 3080.

You can’t upgrade a laptop’s GPU, but if you have a Thunderbolt 3, you can invest in an external graphics unit. Just plug it to an external graphics and your laptop now has access to the power of a desktop GPU.

The water cooling system, the Aorus Waterforce uses a large copper plate, a 240mm aluminium radiator and two 120mm fans, and it’s still a tiny little box- only 173mm tall, 140mm wide and 300mm long.

And yes, it supports the Aorus Engine software so you can adjust RGB lighting- though it only glows at the front.

There’s no price or release date for the Aorus RTX 3090/3080 Gaming Box in Malaysia right now. But expect to see and hear more about this soon.
