After Weeks Of Being Delisted, Quantum Break Is Back On Xbox, PC, Game Pass

Quantum Break, Remedy’s fascinating shooter and launch title of Xbox One, suddenly went missing a while back, reportedly for licensing issues.

Thankfully it was just taking a break, and it’s now available again on Xbox, PC (Steam, Microsoft Store) as well as on Game Pass (since it’s an Xbox Game Studios joint, it will remain permanently available on the service).

Quantum Break being gone rang some alarm bells of games being delisted out of nowhere, so it’s good it’s still available for purchase.

Quantum Break is a fascinating game and the product of an Xbox One launch title, as it’s both a game and a TV series, where you watch a live-action episode produced for the game within the game. The Xbox One was hyped up at launch to double down on TV content, too much that gamers hate it and Microsoft has since backed down from that vision to instead focus on producing more games. It was an interesting turn of events back then in 2014, since today we are celebrating the release of various video game adaptations into TV series and movies, some reaching critical acclaim.

With that context in mind, it’s definitely worth checking out Quantum Break. It’s also a good look at how Remedy took the gameplay from this title and evolve it to the more universally loved Control.
