Action RPG/Immersive Sim Weird West Passes 400,000 Players, Gets New Live Event

WolfEye Studio’s debut title, the action-RPG and immersive sim Weird West is out now and has quite the number of players since its launch on March 31.

Publisher Devolver Digital has announced that 400,000 players have given this western adventure with a supernatural twist a shot.

Alongside that, the game is currently running a live event. Boot up Weird West right now and there’s a higher chance to encounter a zombie horde from the current Plague Event. So be careful on your travels.

This is the first of a series of planned live events for Weird West. So expect more of this to pop up every now and then.

The developers also shared a content roadmap of free updates, though with little explanation of what it really adds. There will be another live event coming soon, but not before a free content pack and “Nimpossible Mode” (presumably a higher difficulty level) arrive.

Weird West is out now for the PS4, PC (Steam, Microsoft Store) and Xbox One. It’s also available on Xbox Game Pass (Console, PC).
