Don’t Nod, the indie French developers behind Life Is Strange, is having a busy year with not one, not two but three game releases in 2023.
And the latest one of the three was just announced at the Xbox Games Showcase 2023: Jusant.
As in the trailer, Jusant is a game about climbing up to a tall tower. And instead of this action being part of some explosive blockbuster set-piece, the climbing is the heart of this chill, meditative game.
You’ll be challenged in how to effectively use climbing tools, and managing stamina, to effectively get your way up. And there are many paths to take on, which is where the puzzle aspects come in.
And you don’t have to wait long to get your hands on Jusant, if you have a PC. A demo is available right now on Steam.
Jusant will be out later in Fall 2023 (late September at the earliest). It will be available on PS5, PC (Steam, Microsoft Store) and Xbox Series X|S. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass day-1 of launch.
