Acer Reveals New Nitro Gaming Monitors Releasing In 2026

At the 2025 next@Acer showcase, the hardware brand reveal a new slate of gaming monitors under the Acer Nitro brand, set for release between late 2025 to early 2026.

Three of the upcoming Acer Nitro monitors are 27-inch in size, each specced out for different gaming use cases.

For those looking for an all-rounder gaming monitor, the Acer Nitro XV2756K V6 boasts a 4K (3840×2160) panel with a refresh rate at 180Hz plus a 1 ms Visual Response Boost Pro (VRB Pro) and AMD FreeSync Premium tech for tear-free visuals when gaming. The panel’s display quality is quite something, this IPS panel covers DCI-P3 97% AdobeRGB 95% colour gamut.

With the high framerate, 4K resolution support and HDR support, the Acer Nitro XV2756K V6 makes a good case for a monitor for consoles. The PS5 and Xbox Series X supports up to 4K 120Hz, which this monitor can output from the HDMI 2.1 port. The full 180Hz can be experienced on PC when plugged in via DisplayPort 1.4.

Acer also offers a more overkill (but not Predator levels of overkill) for those who, for some reason, wants a display that go beyond 4K. The Acer Nitro XV270X has a resolution of up to 5K (5120×2880), at the cost of a lower refresh rate of 72Hz, which is still faster than a non-gaming display outputs at 60Hz.

For the gamers who seek that competitive edge, the Acer Nitro XV273U W1 can output up to 275Hz of refresh rate when overclocked (240Hz regularly). And it’s not much of a sacrifice in other parts of the specs either as this is a 1440p IPS panel.

And to round off the new Acer Nitro line of monitors, there’s the Acer Nitro XZ403CKR curved gaming monitor. This 5K (5120×2160) ultrawide monitor spans over 39.7 inches with a 1000R curvature and has a whopping 288Hz refresh rate.
