Acer Malaysia Launches Aspire Desktop With Ryzen CPU

Looks like Acer Malaysia is embracing the new Ryzen chip. AMD’s latest CPU offering aims at providing strong performance to compete with rivals Intel by going with more threads rather than faster clock speeds.

Acer will bring a desktop powered by Ryzen as well as an AMD Radeon GPU with the Acer Aspire GX-281. This desktop should pack enough power to run the latest games, though the Radeon card used may not be as competitive as an Nvidia 10 series equivalent could offer. Still, the performance is not far off and the package is still a solid one should you want to support team red.
