New Story Trailer For Code Vein II Gives Another Look At The World And Characters

A new story trailer for the upcoming Code Vein II is now out. The sequel to the anime soulslike action RPG gives a more thorough look at its post-apocalypse world and the new characters you will encounter in this trailer.

The trailer feature Japanese voice acting, music composed by Go Shiina, hints of lore and also more of the monstrosities you and your partner must face against.

The new characters seen in the Code Vein II story trailer are Revenants, each of them able to be designated by your partner. As the trailer didn’t spell out their names, here they are and their corresponding Japanese voice talent:

Code Vein II is set in a post-apocalypse future where civilisation has collapse after the Resurgence. Humanity still survived, only through the efforts of Revenants- immortal, vampire-like creatures.

However, the Revenants have started to become mindless cannibals after the appearance of the Luna Rapacis, and as the protagonist, you will be travelling back 100 years into the past to change history and try save the world from ruin.

Code Vein II launches on January 29 for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game will launch one day later on PC (Steam), on January 30, in Asia.
