Digimon Story Time Stranger Out Now

Bandai Namco has released Digimon Story Time Stranger, the latest game to feature the Digimon IP and “the most fully realised Digimon RPG yet.”

Developed by Media.Vision Inc., players will be going back and forth between the human world and the digital world of Iliad to save both worlds from ruin.

As a Digimon Tamer, you’ll be working with a cast of 450+ Digimon, including your faves from the Digimon Adventures anime, as you form the perfect party to tackle turn-based battles.

If you’re not into Digimon, don’t be a stranger. Digimon Story Time Stranger is designed to be approachable and “the series for RPG enthusiasts.” Go try the demo and see whether “Digimon Shin Megami Tensei” is what you’ll describe your experience, because it sort of is.

If you play the Digimon Story Time Stranger demo, progress can be transferred but it must be a manual save, autosaves don’t transfer. Bandai Namco also heavily recommend players to download the Day-1 patch, otherwise you can’t transfer the save file.

Digimon Story Time Stranger is out now on PS5, PC (Steam) and Xbox Series X|S.
