Fans who are waiting for Kojima Productions’ latest epic won’t need to wait long, as Death Stranding 2: On The Beach heads to PC this March.
Revealed during the February 2026 State Of Play broadcast, Death Stranding 2 on PC will include upscaler support from Nvidia (Nvidia DLSS), AMD (AMD FSR) and Intel (Intel XeSS), 21:9 Ultrawide and 32:9 Super Ultrawide resolution monitors and uncapped framerates.
Signing in to your PS account is optional in Death Stranding 2 PC, but it will give you unique design patches to decorate your backpack and a new suit design, as well as allowing the use of the PlayStation overlay with access to Trophies, Friends list and more.
When Death Stranding 2 launches on PC, it will add new modes and features that will also be available on the PS5 as a free update.
The original Death Stranding was released on PC and later on Mac via a different publisher, 505 Games, despite the IP being owned by PlayStation. This was before PlayStation started to directly publish games on PC. Death Stranding 2 is being directly published by PlayStation this time.
One would expect Death Stranding 2 to hit PC in at least year’s time after the initial PS5 version’s launch, but no, it’s three months earlier than expected.
In Death Stranding 2, players once again strap on the boots of one Sam Porter Bridges, as he is roped into a new mission to connect Mexico and later Australia into the Chiral Network. Sam will be walking, running, climbing and driving from one desolate node to another, transporting various good to convince the remnants of humanity living in isolated bunkers after the world-changing events of the Death Stranding to hook up into the network. It’s a game about connections, in more ways than one. But the sequel, which is also a standalone story, has incorporated more action and stealth gameplay.
Death Stranding 2 releases on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) on March 19. Check out our review of the game here.
