Bandai Namco’s anime-tinged take on soulslike, Code Vein II, sequel to the 2019 original, now has a release date. First revealed during Opening Night Live 2025, the release date got dropped at the recent September 2025 State Of Play broadcast.
The new trailer accompanying this news shows more gameplayer, featuring the new revenant Josée as well as new enemies. While the State Of Play broadcast featured English voice acting, this version here hosted on Bandai Namco Entertainment Southeast Asia featured Japanese voices.
Bandai Namco also shared an interview with Code Vein II producer Keita Iizuka and director Hiroshi Yoshimura.
Code Vein II will release on January 29 on PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. In Asia, the PC (Steam) release is one day later, on January 30.
