ASUS ROG Collabs With Kojima Productions For Special ROG Flow, Peripherals

ASUS ROG has a wealth of new announcements and reveals at CES 2026 and one of the highlights is an unexpected collaboration with game developer Kojima Productions. Not for a specific game like Death Stranding 2 which would be ironic as Hideo Kojima and KJP’s latest epic is not available on PC yet. This is a collab with the game development studio itself.

ROG will be offering a special version of the 13-inch tablet-esque laptop with detachable keyboard, the ROG Flow, as well as special versions of the ROG Delta headset, ROG Keris mouse and ROG Scabbard mousepad.

The ROG Flow Z13-KJP features new chassis art design by Kojima Productions’ Yoji Shinkawa, featuring the company mascot Ludens (now with gold motifs as part of a new redesign introduced this year). Specs-wise, the ROG Flow Z13-KJP is identical to the current generation Flow (GZ302E-ARU007W). AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395, a 12.4-inch 2.5 Nebula HDR touchscreen with 180Hz refresh rate.

But this special KJP collab version also includes a custom theme for the Armoury Crate software all ASUS gaming devices come with, and wallpapers featuring Ludens. That’s not much. But that’s not all. It comes with a custom case that looks like a harden, transportable case. Plus, even the power brick got some design to it, featuring a close-up of the KJP logo.

What most gamers and fans of video games auteur Hideo Kojima would be interested in are the peripherals. These are all based on existing versions of ROG’s line of accessories, but the ROG Delta II-KJP, the ROG Keris II-KJP and ROG Scabbard II XXL-KJP all have that white-and-gold colour and feature “hand-drawn Ludens motif” by Yoji Shinkawa. The tagline on all the ROG X KJP collab products is the collaboration tagline: “For Ludens Who Dare,” a riff on ROG’s “For Those Who Dare” motto.

If you love the rugged, utilitarian industrial design you’d see in those boxes in Death Stranding and its sequel, you’ll love these aesthetical-pleasing special variants of existing ROG products.

Kojima Productions is the rare game studio that has the brand identity to sell merch based on itself rather than based on the IPs they created.

No pricing or availability has been announced for any of the ROG X Kojima Productions collab products yet.
