Activision Blizzard Probably Coming To Game Pass Starting Next Year

With Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard likely becoming a done deal, Activision Blizzard has tweeted something interesting in regards to the publisher, and its back catalogue of games.

The company has provided a public statement in regards to Activision Blizzard games coming to Game Pass. It’s in the works, but it’s likely going to start next year, not this year.

The tweet reads:

“While we do not have plans to put Modern Warfare III or Diablo IV into Game Pass this year, once the deal closes, we expect to start working with Xbox to bring our titles to more players around the world. And we anticipate that we would begin adding games into Game Pass sometime in the course of next year.”

Between Activision and Blizzard, there are some hard-hitting titles that will definitely make Game Pass more of a worthy subscription. And Microsoft’s policy right now sees all of its first-party efforts under Xbox Game Studios and Bethesda be available on Game Pass day 1 of launch.
