Acer Malaysia has announced the Acer Nitro V 16S gaming laptop is now available in the country. This new entry to the Acer Nitro line of more affordable gaming hardware has four different variants available in the country.
The Acer Nitro V 16S comes with either Intel Core or AMD Ryzen processors, powered with a Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics. Nothing top of the line, but it gets the job done, whether that be student work or the casual gaming of esports titles, indies and less-demanding games.
The Acer Nitro V 16S has the standard two-fans, quad-exhaust setup for cooling, a 4-zone RGB keyboard and a metal chassis.
The Acer Nitro V 16S should not be confused with the Acer Nitro V 16 AI, however. These are two different laptops with its primary differentiation is that the Nitro V 16 AI supports Copilot+, whereas the Nitro V 16S does not. If you couldn’t care less about consumer-facing AI products, Acer thankfully offers the Nitro V 16S, at the cost of having way too many variants of similar-looking laptops on the online store.
