The annual Ryu Ga Gotoku Summit will be livestreaming tomorrow.
Every year just before Tokyo Game Show, Sega’s Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio will be hosting the RGG Summit, revealing what new games and projects from the developer behind the Like A Dragon series.
The RGG Summit 2025 will go live on September 24, 11 AM Malaysia time (+8GMT) on YouTube as well as Niconico channel. The livestream will be in Japanese, but with an English Simultaneous Interpretation dubbing over the event in real time.
There will also be an RGG Direct, another livestream to go live after the RGG Summit. This will be detailing the latest announcements seen from RGG Summit.
At the moment, there’s no upcoming Like A Dragon game announced, though there have been reports that publisher Sega has accidentally leaked the existence of Yakuza 3 Kiwami, presumably a remake of Yakuza 3.
The Like A Dragon series now has a steady release of at least one game every year. For this year, we had the spin-off Like A Dragon Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii, following 2024’s mainline entry, Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth.
Outside of the Like A Dragon series, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio is also handling the Virtua Fighter series, with a new one currently in development. On top of that, they are working on a new IP, Stranger Than Heaven. Whether or not we shall see either titles at the RGG Summit remains to be seen.
