F1 24 Announced, Releasing This May

EA Sports and Codemasters are announcing the expected annual Formula 1 game early this time around. F1 24 is now announced and available for pre-order, ahead of the season start to the 2024 Formula One World Championship this weekend in Bahrain.

The game itself will be out rather early than usual too. It’s scheduled to drop in May. The teaser just shows a lot of purply imagery spliced with actual footage of the real-life motorsport.

However, F1 24 itself isn’t being properly revealed yet- this is just a tease and a head’s up to let you know you can pre-order.

That said, with F1 24, there is some interesting pre-order bonuses. If you’ve purchased F1 2021, F1 22 or F1 23, you can get a 15% discount for F1 24 Champions Edition as part of a new loyalty program. It’s a limited-time offering, and it only applies to the more expensive edition of the game rather than the base game (Standard Edition). But it’s still nice that some form of loyalty is being rewarded here.

The full reveal of F1 24 will be coming soon. Expect this year’s entry to have an overhauled Career mode, a new handling model branded as the “EA Sports Dynamic Handling System” and more.

F1 24 will be be out on May 31 on PS4, PS5, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, EA App), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
