Pos Malaysia will be releasing a special set of stamps featuring the designs of Pokémon Trading Card Game.
If you ever wanted to indulge in the long-lost hobby of stamp collecting, now you can get back in by collecting stamps based on another collectible-based hobby that is trading cards that has characters from an IP where its most famous slogan is “Gonna Catch ’em All”.
A collectible based on another collectible based on a series where it’s all about collecting, in short.

The Pokémon TCG Special Edition Stamp Folder Set is priced at RM99 per set and it inlcudes the following:
- 10pcs stamps
- Sovenir Cover envelope
- Pokémon TCG fun pack and a playmat
- Commemorative folder
Pre-orders for these highly collectible stamps start today on February 21 and will be available while stocks last. These are sold at:
- At Pos Malaysia’s booth at Pokémon TCG Showdown 2025 at LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre, Kuala Lumpur (10 AM-8 PM)
- Pos Malaysia’s 90 Philatelic Bureaus nationwide, including 13 General Post Offices
- Pos Malaysia’s official online store
Those that pre-order via the Pos Malaysia’s booth at Pokémon TCG Showdown 2025 will have the stamps set delivered for free. Pre-orders from the Philatelic Bureaus can be self-collected. Delivery and self-collection will begin on March 27, so it will be a while before these stamps will arrive in the post.
“The launch marks a milestone for Pos Malaysia as we embark on a landmark collaboration in Southeast Asia with one of the world’s most iconic pop culture brands,” said Fiona Liao, Group Chief Marketing, Communications and Sustainability Officer of Pos Malaysia. “Just as Pokémon brings people together globally, we too are passionate about delivering meaningful connections. We are excited to bring this special stamp collection to life as part of that mission.”
Pos Malaysia is the country’s national post and parcel provider. This isn’t the first time the company did something that should catch the attention of gaming enthusiasts, and Gamer Matters were partially responsible for that one.
