Crafty players have discovered that after the Doomsday Heist update, there are few assets hidden in the game files that seems to be from Red Dead Redemption 2. Now Rockstar has pulled the trigger of the first crossover event for GTA Online and Redemption 2.
Login to GTA Online now and wait for an in-game message that should lead you to how to get the dual revolvers, for free. Once unlocked, you can then further unlock the weapon for use in Redemption 2 by completing the Headshot Challenge while in Freemode. It will also net you GTA$250,000.
The Dual-Action Revolver was featured in one of the screenshots released when the game was announced to miss its original October 2017 launch, seen below.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is now set to release sometime early next year for the PS4 and Xbox One.
