What to expect during AGES 2016?

Starting on 27th May (Friday),  the Asian Games for eSports (AGES) 2016 will be held at Hall 3 of the Mid Valley Exhibition Center (MVEC).

Consisting of the best players in the region, it will be the first time Malaysian eSports athletes will be facing their regional counterparts from some of the other top ASEAN eSports countries.

For starters, the event is split into three days, The first day being the Malaysian Finals, where selected local teams will fight for a spot for the ASEAN Round on Saturday, where they will face teams from other countries such as Singapore, Indonesia, and Vietnam. The Finals on Sunday will determine who will be the Champion of AGES in their respective category.

The Top 3 games featured are DOTA 2, Counter-Strike Global Offensive and FIFA 16. An illustration of  all the day’s event can been seen on the picture below.

One more thing to note is the vast amount of local players that will be there on Friday during the Malaysian Finals, with some representing  their universities. So expect high tension and excitement during the battle rounds. Below are the list of local entries.
