Warhammer Skulls Event Returns With A Showcase Next Week

Games Workshop will be hosting its seventh running of the Warhammer Skulls event, a celebration of video games based on the long-running Warhammer IP (turning 40 this year, to be specific).

For 2023, the Warhammer Skulls event will be kicked off with a showcase featuring world premieres, reveals and behind-the-scenes looks at upcoming Warhammer games.

Games to make an appearance include Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, Total War: Warhammer III, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, and Warhammer 40:000: Boltgun.

Plus, there is “exciting news” coming from Frontier Developments. Frontier, via its publishing label Frontier Foundry, released Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters.

Rahul Kohli, who also is the voice of the protagonist in Boltgun, will be hosting the show.

The 2023 Warhammer Skulls showcase will be streaming live on Warhammer’s Twitch on May 25, 5 PM BST (May 26, 12 AM Malaysia Time, +8 GMT). For those keeping track of all summer video game announcement shows, it’s one day after the PlayStation Showcase, and two weeks before the Summer Game Fest opening showcase.

Once the show’s over, there will be a week-long sale for all Warhammer games, up to 80% off, on various platforms. So it’s the best time to grab some piece of grimdark.
