Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters, the upcoming new strategy RPG, is loosely related to the Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate game from 1998. But there will be a nod to the original 1998 Chaos Gate game, in the form of a remastered song, the iconic Ultramarines Chant.
Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters has a soundtrack composed by Doyle W. Donehoo. Donehoo has worked on various Warhammer 40K games including Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 2, Space Hulk: Deathwing and Battlefleet: Gothic Armada). He also composed this remastered take on the Ultramarines Chant.
You can find the remastered Ultramarines Chant available on YouTube, as well as a free download here.
For reference, this is the original Ultramarines Chants featured in Chaos Gate:
In Warhammer 40K: Chaos Gate – Deamonhunters, you’ll be taking control of the secretive Space Knights chapter of Space Marines instead of the Ultramarines that was the star in the original Chaos Gate, in a fight to purge the plague that was brought upon by the Chaos god Nurgle.
Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters will launch on May 5 on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store).
