Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters Reveals Four Advance Classes Of Grey Knights

Frontier Foundry and Complex Games’ upcoming new strategy RPG Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters has revealed a little more tidbit on what to expect when the game comes out later this year.

In your campaign fighting against the Bloom brought by the Chaos god Nurgle, you can upgrade the Grey Knights (part of the Space Marines) at your command into advanced classes.

Four has been revealed, which is the initial lot you have access to once you gained the favour of the Steward Of The Armoury, with four more to unlock later in the campaign.

The initial four advanced classes for the Grey Knights are as follows:

  • Paladin: wears Terminator Armour, close-quarters melee specialists
  • Chaplain: provides team buffs and removes Nurgles’ ailments via “prayers and litanies”
  • Librarian: Psykers, can use long-range psychic attacks
  • Purifier: Has flamers, close-range, can remove enemy mutations/afflictions

Each class also has unique upgrades, both passive and active abilities. You have a limited amount of skill points to spend, so you really need to specialise your Grey Knights.

Units with class specialisations will be part of the unit rotation via requisitions once you unlock them.

Warhammer 40K: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters will be out on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) in 2022.
